The practice's whole positioning is being straight with patients, including when that costs a treatment. People arrive asking for twenty veneers and leave with a plan for six teeth. People are told that before anything cosmetic happens, a gum problem has to be treated. Some of them go elsewhere, and that is fine.
The reason is not virtue, it is arithmetic: a veneer bonded onto an inflamed gum comes off, and then the patient has lost both the enamel and the money. For someone who flew in from another country, that outcome is far worse than being told no on a video call.
